WOW!! I had an amazing time fishing with my two guides on my solo fishing trip. Although the fish were shy (I was trying to barracuda!), the rest of the trip was magical... I also saw dolphins, jumping manta rays, sting rays, and birds feasting on fish. Genaro's pricing was incredibly reasonable. When I come back to Costa Rica, I will book again in a heartbeat!
What can i say, we had set up a pickup from the shore and the boat was there at the exact minute they said they will meet us and from there everything was just great, the creaw was very helpful, very knowladgeable and very nice, even my 4.5 year old child had a blast! I will highly recommand Papagayo Sport Fishing to everyone!!

Had a great day on the boat!We knew we wanted to do a full day fishing charter while staying at Dreams Las Meras.Did some research and found Papagayo Sport Fishing. Immediately the captain was responsive and answered any questions my group came up with.On the day of the charter, they picked us up right from the beach of our resort!We went out and fished for “bait” for an hour or so. Once we had bait, the fishing was on!!Caught a bunch of great fish and the boat crew worked INCREDIBLY HARD!I was the only one in my group that had deep see experience, didn’t matter one bit!Hope your experience is as good as ours 🙂
Absolutely the best trip ever on the ‘Dream Fisher’. Picked up from the beach and my wife and I got to spend 4 hours with 3 fantastic people who went out of their way to spoil us rotten!! Cold water, cold beer and wonderful fresh pineapple and melon. Oh and the fishing….mind blowing. Ok we didn’t get to land a Rooster Fish but what a Yellowfin Tuna my wife got on the boat. The deck hands quickly cut up about 2lbs for sushi which we all devoured!! We also landed dozens of black tuna, Bonita and skip-jacks…
My wife and I spent the day on the La Manta with Captain Lino and his deck hand son Dennis. Picked us up on the beach at Planet Hollywood and made the 90 minute journey well offshore. Catch tally was 5 Yellow Fin Tuna, 5 Bonito Tuna and one nice Sail Fish. Excellent day overall in very sporty conditions...windy.
